I don't know about you, but I'm not a huge fan of eggs. On the rare occasion that I *do* eat them, I generally have to have toast to go with them so I can have something to eat that covers up the texture of the eggs. I'm just not a huge fan! Of course, not liking eggs pretty severely limits my options for breakfast in the morning, so I've been trying to come up with protein heavy options that are still healthy, easy to make, and delicious! That's how I came up with this delicious Paleo approved sausage zucchini breakfast scramble! It only takes 5 ingredients and it makes enough for two days so I can skip cooking the next day!

This Sausage Zucchini Breakfast Scramble recipe is healthy, easy to make, and delicious! Save this healthy recipe for your New Year's resolution to lose weight or become healthier!

You can of course use different sausage types for this sausage zucchini breakfast scramble if you're not too worried about closely following Paleo, but I like to use this kind just because of the flavor, anyway! I've started paying closer attention to my macros (macronutrients - protein, fats, carbs) and I'm finding it a lot easier to work those "treats" into my diet without overindulging on them. I've also been focusing quite a bit on strength training (though I DID do a 5 miler on Thanksgiving) and finding that it really satisfies me to see my fat dropping and muscle building at the same time! If you don't know much about tracking your macros, I highly recommend checking this book out for a beginner's guide to understanding!

Adding Fitness To Your Clean Eating

I'm currently using Strong Curves as my main workout program, but there's a few good ones I plan to move on to from here. I wanted to share those with you just in case you're looking for a great fitness plan going into the New Year! And of course, I couldn't exclude my favorite cookbook of all time! Also, this Paleo Soups & Stews cookbook is perfect for the upcoming cold of the next few months! I've never been a big soup cooker - but then again, I also lived in Arizona my whole life where it doesn't get cold. Now I'm practically swimming in soup all the time because it's easy to make, healthy, and WARM!

I'm getting ready to start adding a ton of new recipes to the blog in the coming year to both keep myself accountable with my healthy habits and to help you out, too! I just upgraded my camera to this new beauty, and I can't wait to start sharing more tasty recipes with you all!
